All YAS activities are interdisciplinary and encompass one (or more) or the six core themes laid out in our five-year Strategic Plan, 2020 Vision:

 

Many YAS activities are conducted by Working Groups which set their own agenda of activities and work toward responding to some of the most interesting and pressing challenges facing Scotland today. Some activities are carried out by temporary "special project" groups, which may apply for YAS Grants, or seek external funding.  Other projects and events are carried out in conjunction with partner organisations.

Our Members

Scott Spurlock is Head of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Glasgow. He has researched and taught Scottish and Irish history at several leading universities.
