Workshop
What principles do you think should govern political debate?
Democracies pride themselves on allowing space for free political discussion as a way of reaching a compromise.
But political conversation in parliaments, on TV and on social media seems to be increasingly polarised.
Join us for a lively discussion of better and worse ways to disagree with one another. The outcomes of this discussion will inform our project to create a Scottish Charter for Responsible Public Debate.
This event is being delivered as part of the Festival of Politics at the Scottish Parliament.
