At the end of their 5 year term, YAS members have the opportunity to become 'Emeritus' members, these members are still involved in YAS activities and receive additional benefits not available to YAS alumni such as invitations to annual dinners, events and AGMs, mentoring and access to funding opportunities. Our Members

Niki Vermeulen is a lecturer in history/sociology of science in the Science, Technology and Innovation Studies group of the School of Social and Political Science of the University of Edinburgh. She is interested in science policy and the various ways in which research is organised, focussing on scientific collaboration, especially in the life sciences.
