Sabina Strachan

Sabina is an experienced partnership developer and collaboration expert whose 16-year career in cultural resource management and consultancy has spanned the public, private and charitable sectors. Past projects include the Glasgow Commonwealth Games Cultural Programme evaluation, the Burrell Collection redevelopment and the strategy for Edinburgh’s Festivals. In her current role, Sabina develops new research partnerships between the University of Glasgow’s College of Arts and Glasgow Life, the city’s Culture & Sport Trust.

Sabina is an architectural historian. Her PhD (2008) is on Scottish laird’s houses, she is a published author and contributes to the MSc in Conservation Architecture at the University of Edinburgh. She is also a member of the AHRC Peer Review College, a trustee of the student engagement charity Student Partnerships in Quality Scotland, and an employer mentor for Edinburgh Napier University.

Our Members

I am a Reader in Philosophy and Head of Department at the University of Edinburgh. My teaching and research are focused on ethical theory, political philosophy, the philosophy of language, and epistemology. I have published books with Oxford University Press and Routledge and articles in the Journal of Philosophy, Oxford Studies in Metaethics, Philosophy and Phenomenological Research and Philosophical Studies.
