Ruaridh is a chartered engineer studying systems, networks and patterns. His work often exists at the boundary between disciplines with publications across autism and child development, cell biology, disease spread, Earth observation, network analysis, neuroimaging and satellite system design. This diverse portfolio informs his role as an interdisciplinary researcher delivering major programmes in space and health system design.
Ruaridh’s work includes developing advanced time‑synchronisation and relative‑navigation systems for the UK Space Agency. Alongside this, he contributes to the redesign of unscheduled care and the transformation of services for people living with multiple long‑term conditions, collaborating with a range of NHS partners and supported by EPSRC, NIHR, and MRS.
