As a consultant and academic, Dr Rosalind Cavaghan examines how public policy maintains or create intersectional inequalities. She is particularly focused on science and technology, and economic policy including the energy transition and responses to climate breakdown.
Recently she has worked with the Natural Resource Governance Institute mainstreaming gender into their just transition campaigning; Scotland Beyond Net Zero designing a toolkit to foster interdisciplinary collaboration on sustainability-focused projects; and on the Global Challenges Research Fund creating a toolkit for STEMM researchers on gender-sensitive research approaches. Rosalind is also an active member of the Scottish Women’s Gender Budget Group.
