Ola Kristensson

Per Ola Kristensson is a SICSA Lecturer in Human Computer Interaction at the University of St Andrews. He is interested in creating intelligent interactive systems that enable people to be more creative, expressive and satisfied in their daily lives. He is also a co-founder of ShapeWriter Inc, a technology start-up that commercialised a new text entry method for touchscreen devices. He was the Director of Engineering of this company until it was acquired by Nuance in 2010.

He received his PhD from Linköping University, Sweden in 2007 and was a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge 2008-2011.

Chris Dalglish works with cultural heritage as a means of realising a range of social benefits.  In particular, he is interested in the role of cultural heritage in community development.  Chris trained as an archaeologist (MA Hons Glasgow; PhD Glasgow) and has worked in the public, private and academic sectors.
