Miss Lauren Gibson is a pharmacist currently undertaking an Academic Clinical Fellowship (ECAT-i) within Edinburgh University. Her research explores drug policy and drug related deaths within Scotland.
Lauren has worked across Scotland in many sectors of pharmacy practice including Public Health, Community Pharmacy, Primary Care, GP Practice, Addiction Services, Homeless Healthcare, Prison Services, and Academia. From this experience she is passionate about reducing health inequalities and improving representation, visibility and outcomes for underserved populations within our society.
Outside of her career, Lauren loves sports, especially running and athletics. She gained her coaching qualification from Scottish Athletics and is a volunteer youth coach at her local athletics club, Airdrie Harriers. Lauren loves giving back to her local community and being part of the team!
