Bio

Dr Kit Chan is a Reader at the Centre for Population Health Sciences, University of Edinburgh. Her research has primarily focused on health policy evaluation and improving estimates of non-communicable diseases in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), especially in China and Africa. She is a founding member of the Global Health Epidemiological Reference Group (GHERG), and has contributed to the World Health Organization's Child Health Epidemiology Reference Group (CHERG). She has also worked with Child Health and Nutrition Research Initiative (CHNRI) of the Global Forum for Health Research on the development and implementation of the crowdsourcing-based methodology for setting research priorities in global health (the 'CHNRI methodology').

Our Members

Stewart is a lecturer in the School of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh. He recently completed an RCUK fellowship which involved the development of collaborative research at the interface between Engineering and the Life Sciences. This is still a major area of interest, as is the design and manufacture of integrated microsystems, and the development of microelectronic test structures.
