Kirsty brings more than 20 years’ experience of work focused on reducing inequality through lifelong learning, community empowerment and public service reform. Within Dundee City Council, Kirsty leads work to strengthen learning pathways, improve outcomes and support more inclusive, learner-centred education systems.
Her practice combines service design, participatory research and community development, ensuring lived experience informs policy and service development.
A published author and international speaker, she is committed to collaborative, evidence-informed approaches that amplify community voice and contribute to a fairer, more inclusive Scotland.
