Elizabeth graduated with an Honours degree in Genetics from the University of Aberdeen and obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge in 2001 where she worked on Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology. In 2007, she established her own scientific consultancy business, enabling her to rapidly broaden her knowledge and be involved in numerous life science and clinical business development projects. Elizabeth enjoys connecting with innovative enterprises and wishes to continue working with others to ensure that developments in science and technology best serve the public. Elizabeth lives in Edinburgh and is married with 2 children.
