Bio

Emma is a solicitor based in Edinburgh and works for the global law firm, CMS.  Emma specialises in the resolution of disputes.  Emma’s work focuses on high value and complex court proceedings, principally in the commercial, corporate and financial services arenas. 

Emma is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde (LL.B (First Class Honours) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice) and is a former Legal Assistant to the Scottish Law Commission.  From May 2014 – May 2016, Emma served as President of the Scottish Young Lawyers’ Association, a non-profit organisation representing the future of the legal profession in Scotland.

She has recently worked on networks that describe how cattle and sheep move around Britain, as well as how farms contact each other geographically and via wind movement.
