Chiara is a Research Impact Adviser at Glasgow Caledonian University, where she supports academics in developing competitive funding applications and embedding meaningful impact into their research. With a background in cultural anthropology, she previously worked as a researcher and lecturer and has extensive experience across European higher education systems. Since moving to Scotland in 2015, she has maintained strong international collaborations while building partnerships across academia, policy, and practice.
Her work focuses on connecting people, ideas, and institutions to co-create innovative, socially relevant solutions. She is particularly committed to supporting early career researchers and fostering inclusive research cultures. Beyond her professional role, Chiara is engaged in human rights advocacy, with a focus on gender equality and trans inclusion.
