Calum Forsyth leads the Enterprise Solutions programme at Strathclyde Business School, University of Strathclyde.

Calum has a strong technical background and is a prize-winning and published PhD scientist. Calum completed his PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of Strathclyde.

Following his PhD, Calum transitioned to management consultancy with KPMG and spilt his time between Edinburgh and London where he predominately worked with asset managers and investment banks.

Calum’s interests span a number of disciplines and his grasp of science, information and computer technology, and entrepreneurship has added significant value to a range of startups across a number of industries. Calum has supported over 100 aspiring entrepreneurs. Calum’s clients have been awarded £100,000s in early stage investment and continue to grow and scale.

Using photography’s elusive relationship with reality and its indexical qualities, his work superimposes the projected qualities of places with the real, mainly through the mediums of photography and sculpture.
