Dr Ashley Lewis-Cole is a Learning and Teaching Strategy Manager at the University of Glasgow. Her work focuses on designing inclusive, interdisciplinary approaches to education that support equity and societal impact. She co-leads Curriculum for Life, an institution-wide programme of elective courses enabling students to engage with real-world challenges, including sustainability, social justice and health equity.
Having studied and worked in higher education internationally, she brings a global perspective to her practice, with a particular interest in how learning can connect across contexts and communities. She also project manages the Healthy and Equitable Futures challenge area for Glasgow Changing Futures, working across sectors to co-design responses to inequality and wellbeing. She is a member of the Hunterian Strategic Development Board.
She completed her PhD at the University of St Andrews, where her research examined the Ethics of Care in policy environments. Her work brings together education, policy and interdisciplinary solutions to complex challenges, with a focus on shaping more equitable, participatory and socially responsive systems for the future.
