Andrew Feeney

Dr Andrew Feeney is Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Medical and Industrial Ultrasonics at the University of Glasgow. His research group is centred on adaptive ultrasonics, through the engineering of a new generation of advanced materials, systems, and structures. The major themes of his group are shape memory alloys and metamaterials, medical devices, industrial sensors and actuators, and sustainable manufacturing. Andrew works closely with industry, aiming to drive impact across industrial and medical applications of ultrasound. He is a chartered engineer (MIMechE) and active in the IEEE, where he is the Publicity Chair for the Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society.
