Dr Alison Johnston is an ecological statistician, interested in how we analyse ecological data to learn about the natural world. She develops and applies analytical methods to extract reliable information about biodiversity. Alison is particularly interested in how we can maximise the use of citizen science data and through this, we can also learn about how humans engage with nature.
