Discover the Space Industry

|

The space sector in Scotland is booming! Scotland is the largest satellite producer in Europe and is hoping to host the first commercial launch in Europe. With more than 200 companies in Scotland already, the number of jobs in the sector is expected to increase even further in the coming years.

The space industry involves a wide range of people with a variety of skills, from aerospace engineers designing satellites to specialists in space law and data scientists analysing observations of the Earth from space. Contrarily to popular beliefs, working in the space sector is not only for those who are good at maths and science. There are a wide range of careers available where creativity, adaptability, communication, or business skills are as important as technical skills.
